product photography - Overview

Very important to any eCommerce website or indeed any product catalogue, is that the quality of the product photography is to a very high standard.

Nobody will buy from a supplier who can't be bothered to display their products in the best possible way.

I have had difficulty in the past in finding a Photographer that is geared up to producing images specifically for the Internet and catalogues, particularly small objects.

Therefore, I have designed and produced a purpose made product table and together with specialist lenses, I can produce product photographs suitable for both media.

I also have a portable 'tent' that can be used when products are needed to be photographed at the Client's premises as well as an adaptable lighting rig for in-situ photography.

Please note that the taking of the images is only one aspect of the whole process and usually takes between one third and a half of the total time required.  Therefore 4 hours of photography may translate into between 8 and 12 hours of actual time for the job.
