At Azteck we first became aware of the internet in 1993 and have been actively looking for a developer to work with us ever since.  We have never been convinced by anybody.  The world, and indeed our contacts database, is full of web developers who ‘come and go’ and really do not impress.  There is a great void between the ‘light-weights’ and the expensive impersonal corporate web developers.  Few occupy the ‘highly experienced experts who preserve the personal business relationship’ territory.  Even fewer last more than two years.  We only know of one: Roger. 

At Azteck we spent a very long time working out what role a website serves for a management and engineering consulting practice - it is not obvious and many have made mistakes.

We went to Roger with a very unusual proposal as to: the site deliverables and how we would like to develop it.  He worked with us over many days to inform and develop our ideas and then to embody them in the site.  We cannot think of an occasion where his advice has been wrong.  The navigation is technically superlative; especially considering that we insisted that Flash was not used.

We have been very strict in the presentation of Azteck’s corporate style and how the interface between the user and site respects and fulfils our Corporate Values.  We wrote the copy & constantly edited it again and again.  We have been fanatical about pixel perfect layouts.  Roger has the patience of Job and has fully bought into our needs.
